Calig - Costa del Azahar ( The Orange and Lemon Blossom Coast)
What makes this area different?

If you think that the Costa Blanca, Costa del Sol etc. are too crowded with tourists, holiday homes and over developed in general then this part of Spain might be what you are looking for. The area offers everything one could wish for in terms of possible leisure activities -from golf, sailing, scuba-diving or fishing to bird watching in the nearby Ebro delta. There are numerous routes for walkers and cyclists to enjoy the countryside and of course a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars plus shopping areas in the towns. We believe that investing in property on the Costa del Azahar makes good sense.
The property market here is not only driven by foreigners but also by the Spanish buyer, yet property prices are still modest compared to the areas further north and south. With the new golf developments, a new marina near Peniscola etc. there is going to be more demand by foreigners in the future and prices could well catch up with those on the Costa Brava and Costa Blanca. Luckily development is not likely to be on a scale as big as on these other coasts and the Costa del Azahar should be able to retain its character. Calig is situated 8 kilometers from the beautiful Mediterranean beaches of Bennicalo/Vinaros and 10 klms to the long unspoilt beaches of Penniscola
